In its second year, our FCCLA is making another big splash.  34 FCCLA members attended the Regional Convention held in Waco. Of those students, 10 will be advancing to the State Convention in Dallas, Texas, in April.

Among the winners is Aden Timko, the newly elected Vice President of Public Relations for Region III FCCLA. Most candidates know that they are running for office well in advance but Aden signed up to “Run from the Floor”. These candidates are the equivalent of a “write-in” candidate and don’t know if they will truly be on the ballot until convention.

“You should have seen him!” Mrs. Sprague commented, “Aden did great addressing the crowd and commanding the stage”

Chyloe Vargas-Booth, Kelty Conner, and Mattie Pogue – 4th place with their Life Event Planning project
