North Hopkins Secondary “Creative Nights” set to begin on October 4, 2018
North Hopkins ISD Culinary, Art, and Ag departments are set to go with their monthly adult education opportunities known as “Creative Nights.” Each month, a different group will offer evening classes to adults to demonstrate and teach a little bit of what they do everyday. Funds raised from these adult classes will be utilized toward students in those respective courses.
For the month of September, the Culinary evening will actually occur on the evening of Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 6-8:00 P.M. in the secondary culinary room. Participants will learn how to create a pumpkin or red velvet roll or chocolate turtle apple slices. Students have already made these items for different events, and they taste outstanding.
So, if you want to learn how to make some delicious treats, please call Mrs. Sprague at the secondary campus at 903-945-2192, extension 6101 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up. Cost is $35 for an individual or 2 for $60.
Our next Creative Night will include “pouch pot” pottery work hosted by Mrs. Cowling on October 22, 2018.
