Nominations for Gifted & Talented Services

In accordance with the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented Students, the North Hopkins Independent School District will consider students in grades K-11 (who are not yet identified as gifted and talented) for nomination and screening for gifted and talented program services. 

Students that have already been identified as Gifted and Talented DO NOT need to be nominated again.

Anyone interested in the educational welfare of these students may nominate them for assessment. 

Nomination and consent for assessment forms may be completed online by clicking the appropriate link below.  


  • Click the link below if you are a PARENT or GUARDIAN wanting to nominate your child for GT services:


  • Click the link below if you are a TEACHER wanting to nominate a student for GT services:


  • Click the link below if you are not the child’s parent, guardian, or teacher and would like to nominate a student for GT services (community member, family friend, etc.):


  • Click the link below if you are a student in grades 4-11 and you would like to nominate yourself for GT services:

Paper copies of Nomination Forms can be picked up in the Elementary or Junior High/High School offices.  


All nominations for prospective GT students must be completed online or returned to the Elementary or Secondary campus office by 3:30 pm on Friday, November 19, 2021.

Forms returned after 3:30 on November 19 will not be accepted.
