In the Summer of 2016, I made a move to North Hopkins ISD. I was hired to be the district Instructional Technology Specialist and 8th grade math teacher. I was quickly moved into the position of my dreams and currently serve the district as Elementary Principal. I love every minute of it!
Before coming to NH, I taught mathematics at Cooper Junior High for 12 year. With six years experience in 8th grade and six years in 6th grade. In Cooper, I implemented Jr. Beta, served as UIL Coordinator, coached Varsity and Jr. High Cheer for 10 years, and was the Homecoming Coordinator. All of these experiences made lasting memories, made me a better teacher and taught me lessons to help develop the philosophies I use in my role as an administrator.
I have been married since July 1, 2000 to my rock, Kaleb Wright. We have three amazingly talented, intelligent, and loving children...Kennedi, Kreed and Kase. Our family is very active and we stay on the go 24/7!!
We have two dogs...Piper the Husky and Ranger a Mini Australian Shepherd.
When I’m not working...I’m typically watching my daughter play softball, spending time with my family, soaking up sun by the pool, walking/working out, reading a book, or shopping with my best friend! Each summer I like to get in one or two professional reads to continue to be a life long learner.
